Level I Labourer provides ongoing support to productions through cleaning, staging, and organizing work areas and supplies as directed by the Production Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow company processes and company Safe Work Procedures and Practices
  • Work within Company, Customer, and other existing standards and regulations pertaining to their scope of work
  • Report and rectify potential hazards, accidents, and near misses
  • Perform Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRA)
  • Unload, count and store stock orders
  • Pickup orders from vendors
  • Clean and arrange storage areas
  • Count inventory of consumables and submit stock orders to purchasing department
  • Collect and stage requested consumables and components from job pick lists
  • Conduct and document counts of equipment, hose and asset in the yard
  • Assist Operations with loading and unloading of trucks and trailers before and after job installations and shutdowns
  • Organize and clean work areas
  • Stock consumables in various locations
  • Empty garbage containers and dispose of full garbage bags

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Pumps 100 and 101 courses
  • Ability to read, write and understand English
  • Class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Must participate and pass screening tests for drugs, alcohol, and other controlled substances
  • Must pass a physical fitness assessment

Work Environment:

  • Interactions with other Employees, Customers, Suppliers, and Contractors
  • Occasionally exposed to noisy, dusty, and/or wet environments
  • Occasionally exposed to inclement weather conditions

Physical Demands:

  • Able to work day shifts up to 12 hours long
  • Capable of moving over and around obstacles
  • Capable of lifting large or heavy loads sometimes up to 18 kg
  • Reports To:
    • Production Supervisor
    • Production Manager
